PHILOSOPHY

Marea clothing is a casual luxe lifestyle concept. Marea in Italian means ocean tide, and so, relates to the waves and the movement of the sea. I am inspired by having been born in Italy, by my experiences of traveling and by the nature that surrounds me on the sea coast. I believe clothing can transport us and bring meaning to our lives. Color invokes emotion such as joy or calmness. Marea’s casual lifestyle aesthetic reflects the Italian saying il dolce far niente - “the sweetness of doing nothing”. But of course Marea’s clothing can serve you in all your lifestyle needs.

Marea's Luxe Lounge is inspired by natures inherent beauty which guides us in choosing a range of colors and patterns that is reimagined in a hand dyed traditional Japanese process to create seasonless and timeless staples that reflect our sensorial world. As I create I think of the summer ocean, lush grasses and winter seascapes. We are committed to and uphold sustainable and ethical business practices.
